How remote engine cut-off works
A GPS tracker with a relay is wired into the vehicle's fuel or ignition circuit. From the app, the owner sends a secure command; the tracker switches the relay and the engine cannot be restarted. The vehicle keeps reporting its location, so recovery is a matter of guiding the police to a dot on the map.
When it is safe to use
Cut-off is designed to stop a vehicle from being started or to bring it to a halt safely — it never kills a moving engine at speed. Bharat Tracker only applies the cut when the vehicle is stationary or crawling, and every command is logged with who sent it and when.
